Welcome to our website

Three schools - Gymnázium Vysoké Mýto (Czech Republic),  Collège Jean Giono, LE BEAUSSET (France) and Scuola Media Statale Dante Alighieri, Catona  (Italy)  have been working on this project for a few months now and we have some contributions and results that we would like to share with you. We have learned a lot about our partners and we have also had a lot of fun. Only part of our results is published here because some private pieces of information have to stay private. :-) This website is going to grow together with the project reflecting all its stages. And what is the most important thing - it is our common work, the result of our cooperation.

The eTwinning project aims to encourage European schools to collaborate using Information and Communication Technologies. The main concept behind eTwinning is that schools are paired with another school elsewhere in the Europe. The two schools then communicate using the Internet (for example, by e-mail or video conferencing) to collaborate, share and learn from each other. eTwinning encourages and develops ICT skills as the main activities inherently use information technology. Being 'twinned' with a foreign school also encourages cross-cultural exchanges of knowledge, fosters students' intercultural awareness, and improves their communication skills.
