INTRODUCING ourselves

NICE TO MEET YOU

When we want to make new friends, first we usually introduce ourselves and so did we.

In September the Czech students introduced themselves through a short video accompanied with a set of comprehension questions. Our partners watched them and replied to our questions. To reveal a bit more, the Czech students also answered a set of questions in a short survey and sent them to their partners. This way they wrote a bit more about their interests and hobbies.

The Italian students produced a wonderful Power Point presentation in which each of the students introduced themselves and wrote about their hobbies – a task for the partners was included: to match the names and the photos. So we all played detectives and thanks to a few cues we found the solution. Thanks for preparing the activity for us.

Each of the French students also introduced herself / himself through a letter or short Power Point presentation. Besides that, they surprised us with their VOKI avatars and their introductions – what a good idea!

We are really glad to meet you all!!!

WHO IS WHERE

The comment from the twinspace published on 11/9/2012

„Hello everybody, Today in class we worked in pairs on this exciting activity. We got printed FRENCH STUDENTS’ DESCRIPTIONS from our teacher and the photo was projected onto the whiteboard. We had 5 minutes to match the names and the students in the photo. Most of us got it right and the teacher gave them 1 (excellent) for this activity. Thanks for preparing this task for us. :-) We are not going to present the results here now because the Italian students are still working on it. In the photo gallery you can see 3 photos that were taken during today´s lesson. Bye - Czech students“

ANOTHER „Nice2meetU“ACTIVITY

To make the Czech students active, they were asked by the teacher to choose a French student each and his / her letter and write 5 additional questions asking about details. Then the students used the twinspace mailbox and sent the questions to the French students who answered them within a few days.
